DLP Systems
Runco's Reflection™ Series projectors are among the brightest projectors available. These projectors are perfect for situations where ambient light cannot be controlled, or for larger screen applications in which a CRT projector cannot generate enough light.

Plasma Systems
Also known as "flat screens", these versatile Plasma monitors are the perfect solution for those who cannot use a front projector, or who have too much ambient light in their theater. At a thickness of only 4" for the PL-43HDX or PL-50HDX and 5" for the PL-61cx, the monitor can be mounted on a wall or ceiling - or simply placed on a desktop!

Plasma systems can be used in any light condition, much like a regular TV. However, they can display all current DTV formats (via an outboard decoder), and are in wide screen format for watching DVD movies or high-definition video.

CRT Projectors
CRT projectors are the best type of projector for high-resolution display. While not as bright as DLP projectors, they are capable of displaying much higher resolution signals in their native formats. These projectors are best suited for low ambient light conditions, and are typically used with screens less than 100" wide.

Since the image is 'drawn' with an electron beam, it is not limited to one resolution like a DLP or Plasma display, which have a fixed number of pixels. As a result, CRT projectors will always have better resolution capability than other types of displays.

DLC Projectors
LCD technology is back in the Runco line-up, and it's better than ever! The DLC-2000HD includes the latest improvements in image quality, including flawless white field uniformity, color fidelity and gamma correction. These improvements, combined with the video processing of the included PFP Controller with VIVIX™ technology, result in an image that has such clarity and depth that it appears virtually three-dimensional!

VIVIX Processors
Runco's new ULTRA series video processors have been designed to work with any type of display technology; the various scan rate outputs make these processors some of the most flexible on the market today. ULTRA series processors can be used with both fixed-pixel and CRT projectors because of their accurate and specific outputs based on VESA standards.
